Science is an essential part of all of our lives, with links to many other areas of the curriculum. At Studfall Infant Academy, children are encouraged to investigate, solve problems and ask questions about aspects of the world around them.
Our children are given the opportunity to explore aspects of biology, chemistry and physics using practical resources and through engaging and exciting lessons. Our children attend a variety of workshops over the school year and visit different environments related to their topic. Parents are also encouraged to take part in their child’s learning and each year the school gets involved with national science week. Parents are invited to take part in many sessions during this week and this gives children the opportunity to really get passionate about science.
